Motivational Dialogue in the Second Language Setting

This study argues for the relevance of a model social interaction referred to as “motivational dialogue” proposed by Patyayeva (2012) grounded in concept dialogue L. S. Vygotsky and M. Bakhtin. The accounts two types motivational dialogue: that which unfolds environments between or more individuals internally private inner speech. In extension Patyayeva’s L2 teaching learning situations, present study, critical concepts Vygotsky’s theory are also brought into consideration: perezhivanie (the dialectical emotion intellect) situation development (how particular context is refracted through personality an individual who participates context.
